Process for NEET 2026
The NEET UG 2026 application process is carried out online through
neet.nta.nic.in from February 8 to March 8, 2026. It includes registration,
completing the application form, uploading required documents (including a live
photograph), and payment of the application fee. Applicants must create login
credentials, provide personal and academic details, and submit the fee
(General: ₹1700,
EWS/OBC: ₹1600,
SC/ST: ₹1000).
Step-by-Step NEET UG 2026 Application Process
1. Registration and Login Generation (Step 1):
- Visit the official
website: neet.nta.nic.in (https://neet.nta.nic.in/).
- Click on "New
Registration" and read the instructions carefully.
- Fill in personal
details (name, parents' names, DOB, gender), valid mobile number, and
email address.
- Create a password and
answer the security question to generate your application number.
2. Filling Application Form (Step 2):
- Log in with your
application number and password.
- Fill in personal
details, identification (Aadhaar/Passport/ID), exam city preferences, and academic qualifications (Class 10 and
12 details).
- Fill in permanent and
correspondence addresses.
3. Document Upload (Step 3):
Upload scanned images
as per the specifications (JPG/JPEG format):
- Photograph: 10 KB – 200 KB (white background).
- Signature: 4 KB – 30 KB.
- Left and Right Hand Thumb Impressions: 10 KB – 200 KB.
- Class 10 Certificate: 50 KB – 300 KB (PDF).
- Postcard Photo (4x6): 10 KB – 200 KB.
- Note: A live photo must be captured at the time of application.
4. Fee Payment and Submission (Step 4):
- Pay the application
fee via online modes: Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Fees: ₹1700 (General), ₹1600 (General-EWS/OBC-NCL), ₹1000 (SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender), ₹9500 (Outside India).
- Download and print the
confirmation page and fee receipt for future reference.

How to Download NEET Admit Card 2026?
To obtain
the NEET 2026 admit card when it becomes accessible, follow the stepwise
instructions below:

admit card link when available.

Enter your application
number, date of birth, and security pin, then click "Submit."

NEET 2026 admit card will
appear on the screen.

Verify the information on
your admit card for correctness. Report any discrepancies immediately.

Download the NEET admit
card and make 3–4 printouts for future use.
·
Ensure your parent’s
signature in the designated space on the NEET 2026 admit card.

Before
applying for NEET UG 2026, candidates must meet the following eligibility
criteria:

Must
have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.
·
Must
have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as
core subjects.
·
Minimum
qualifying marks in Class 12:
·
General
Category: 50%
·
SC/ST/OBC: 40%
·
PwD
candidates: 40%
·
Must
be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025.
·
No
maximum age limits.

2. Find and click on the New
Registration link.
3. Read the instructions
carefully and select Apply Online.
4. Enter accurate details such as date of
birth, parent’s name, category, etc.
5. Click Submit once all details are
filled in. (Note: Registration details cannot be altered later.)

generate unique login credentials. Save these credentials safely.
1. Log in using your registered credentials.
2. Complete the
application form with accurate details.
3. Select the exam medium
and exam centers carefully. (Note: Exam
centers cannot be changed after submission.)
4. Review the details entered and click ‘Yes, Please Do’
to submit the application form.

Recent Documents’ link.
