1. Introduction
The Common University
Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for
admission into Postgraduate programs
across Central and Participating
Universities in India. It provides a common
platform to students from different backgrounds to seek admission in
various disciplines.

(NTA) is responsible for conducting CUET PG 2025 with a mission to:
● Ensure fairness and transparency in admission processes.
● Provide a single-window
opportunity for students to get admission into multiple universities.

Reduce the burden of multiple entrance exams.
About CUET PG

Exam Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
●
Medium: Bilingual (English & Hindi) except for
language-specific papers.
●
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree or
appearing in the final year of undergraduate programs.
●
Participating Universities: Includes Central Universities, State Universities,
Deemed & Private Universities.
Examination Scheme
Mode & Pattern
●
The test will be computer-based
with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
●
Duration: 90 minutes.
●
Total Questions: 75 questions.
●
Marking Scheme:
●
+4 marks for each correct answer.
●
-1 mark for incorrect answers.
●
0 marks for unattempt questions.
